"So, here I am in the wee hours of the morning, dark in my room, unable to sleep, didn't want to turn on the light so as not awaken the other house mates. So, I climb out of my bed, and I do mean climb, (mine is the top bunk, I like to call the LOFT) in my temporary housing accommodations.

So, I am climbing out, in the dark, miss a rung on the ladder and emphatically fall on my butt/backside/gluteus maximus/a$$/whatever you want to call it, and in that instant, I clearly hear, in my Spirit, ~'Carla-Rae, did you know people are drawn to you because of your GRACE?' ~(Bwahahahahahaha)
I started to laugh, but I also tried to contain it, because I mean, after all I had already made a crash landing. If that didn't wake anyone up, then my full blown belly laugh would have.

I gingerly picked myself up off the floor, exited my room, still trying to stifle my laughter, and sat in the kitchen pondering the 'GRACE' thing I had just heard.
As I always do when there is question about what Spirit is saying to me, I googled the meaning of 'GRACE'. "Somehow', I thought, 'I am missing something here.'
Of course there are many meanings to the word GRACE, right off the bat I felt as though I could eliminate the one about ~ELEGANCE of MOVEMENT~ HA!
I read further and found the one that would cause people to be attracted to me...(Wait for it)....Simply put, the meaning that jumped out was this:
~AN ATTRACTIVELY POLITE MANNER OF BEHAVING~

Very simply and directly Spirit was telling me that my heart to be polite, courteous, and offer goodwill is the GRACE that draws folks to me.
AND sometimes, I can be a picture of SIMPLE ELEGANCE WITH REFINEMENT OF MOVEMENT. However, last night was not that time. Oh come on now, LAUGH with me, people, that story was funny."
SHINE ON, you GRACEFUL people, SHINE ON!

"Today as I spent time in my QUIET, the word and concept of TRUST kept darting in and out of my thoughts until I just FOCUSED on the word, and the meaning, and the feeling, and whole essence, of what TRUST is.
While I would not in anyway say that I am an expert on the subject, I have had my share of experiences with the issue of TRUST and then the lack there of.
So, back to my QUIET TIME. I clearly heard, in my Spirit, 'Carla-Rae, your strength, power, and shine stem from the Essence of TRUST that you are.'
I had to think about that for more than a minute. To be truthful the first thoughts that came into my mind were all the moments in my life where TRUST was broken, abused, or exploited. Painful at first,
I ALLOWED myself to thoroughly examine these moments and then I watched myself RELEASE them. It was like watching all those heavy thoughts and feelings become as balloons lifting away from me into the atmosphere. As I watched they became smaller and smaller until I could not longer see them. then I heard again,
'Carla-Rae, your strength, power and shine stem from the Essence of TRUST that you are.'
My enthusiasm and openness about my passions, my love for others, my ability to share my joy and the things that please me IS IN FACT the character of TRUST.
I am not afraid anymore. I have the capacity to feel again. It is wonderful. So, I SHINE and I offer my SHINE with LIBERTY and TRUST."
SHINE ON you TRUSTWORTHY people. SHINE ON!

Many years ago in a QUIET TIME, I clearly heard, in my Spirit, that my VOICE and the good things I share would become GLOBAL. I had no clue what that meant , really, though I have had several well known people confirm that statement from my QUIET TIME many times over the years.
Well, on May 24, 2014, at 9:30PM EDT my voice will, indeed be going GLOBAL as I have been honored to lead the MASTER SHIFT'S GLOBAL MEDITATION on the PLANT KINGDOM and GMO Awareness.
I am humbled, honored, and blown away, (in a Good way) that the manifestation of that word I received so many years ago in a daily QUIET TIME is about to come to pass.

~PASSION~

"PASSION' keeps popping up all around me wherever I go. I was thinking about that as I was in my QUIET TIME this morning.Then it hit me, 'Carla-Rae, YOU ARE PASSION, so it stands to reason that PASSION follows you and or shows up wherever you go. It has to, PASSION is YOU and YOU are PASSION.'
Whoa, now that is exciting. It further occurred to me, that additionally, I seeing more PEACE, LOVE, JOY, HAPPINESS, and SHINE because, (wait for it) these virtues are who I am as well and they go where I go. I cannot be separated from WHO I AM. I cannot be separate from ME or My Creator. Oh WOW this is good.
I AM ONE with the CREATING SPIRIT of GOD, So, I am ONE with CREATOR
Holy Moly, Now that is something to be PASSIONATE about.
Think about what you find most frequently, wherever you go and ask yourself what are YOU contributing to make that happen. If it is wonderful, don't change a thing. If it is not in keeping with the AMAZING person you are, then you may want to change something.
LET your PASSION SHINE.

"I can only bring fresh inspiration into my world by virtue of my allowing my self to be transformed by whatever situation I am presently experiencing... I am learning this and it is not always an easy lesson.
I realize that BAD things do happen in life, it sucks, but STUFF happens. I also realize how I consistently respond to those difficult things will ultimately begin to define my life quality and even my character. So, if I consistently choose to gripe and complain about what I perceive to be BAD, then that is what I am focused on and it doesn't serve to grow me into the powerfully, sensitive person I wish to be in life.
TODAY, I wish to be an example of creative transformation, empowered by my spark for life which allows me to treasure and be a treasure of the most wonderful and amazing gift I have and that is life itself.
I hope you realize I need you to help me to be all I can be.
